  • The Association is an International Colorbred Canary Club.

  • NCA has Approved Judges.  All newly approved Judges are required to take a written and visual examination for qualification.

  • A quarterly newsletter will be sent to all members in good standing.

  • Membership dues are only $25.00 for single or $30.00 dual memberships.

  • Closed leg bands are available to all NCA members.

  • The National Colorbred Association has an annual meeting at the National Cage Bird Club Show every year.  Members and visitors are always welcome.

  • A seminar on mutations and updates on colorbred canaries is given at the National Cage Bird Show.

  • Clubs that affiliate with NCA with two divisions receive 10 show rosettes, now with the New Color Melanin as a third division, 15 show rosettes are received.  Rosettes are given to the four "Best Lipochrome", four "Best Melanins" and now with the new division, four "Best New Color" colorbred canaries, all divisions come with "Novice" rosettes.

  • NCA Club Affiliations are $75.00 for two divisions and $100.00 for all 3 divisions including score pads.

  • Recognition is given to to the "Breeder of the Year" and runners up in the National Cage Bird Show catalog and the NCA Newsletter.  A plaque is presented to the "Breeder of the Year"

  • Points are accumulated at all exhibitions that "affiliate" with the NCA.  These points are calculated and the exhibitor with the most points for the year is awarded "Breeder of the Year" status.  Points are awarded as follows: 500 points for 1st place, 400 2nd, 300 3rd, 200 4th.  This is a total of 1400 points for the Lipochrome Canary Division, 1400 points for the Melanin Canary, and 1400 points for the New Color Melanin Canary.  If your local club has all 3 divisions, there are a total of 4200 points per exhibition.  Any exhibitor receiving 1000 points receives the NCA "Master Breeder" Award  Certificate.

  • Colorbred canaries that receive 800 plus points are recognized.  As a result, the bird now qualifies for an NCA "Champion" Award Certificate.

  • Participants are asked to visit our partner portal providing a comprehensive Playtech casinos list online.
